Paintball

What is paintball?

Do you want to play paintball? Great! But there is one small BUT! You are far from knowing what it is and what it is eaten with! We will help you understand the types of paintball, their features and requirements for the game.

Sport paintball

In this case, there can be 3 types of teams: 3x3, 4x4, 5x5. More than 5 people in a team usually do not gather, although there are 7x7 and 10x10 tournaments. At least 19 different figures, about 1 meter high, should be placed on the field. Two of them should be lying down (snakes) and one 2 to 3 meters high in the middle of the field. The figures are made inflatable of a special shape. The field itself is 25x50 meters in size. On these fields, you can simply play for fun, train while preparing for tournaments. In sports paintball tournaments, the requirements for the field and figures are exactly the same. Recently, the X-ball variety of paintball has become particularly popular - it is a derivative of paintball with the addition of elements taken from hockey, football and basketball, to give the game more dynamism and spectacle.

The length of the field is the same: 25x50 meters. There should also be 19 figures on it. Their placement and shape do not matter and are limited by the imagination of the builders or the theme of the field. The height should be at least 1 meter so that the player can completely hide behind it. The figures are usually made of car ramps, tires, sandbags or wood. 2 teams play on such a field, from 5 to 10 people each.

This is a type of paintball for beginners. Such fields host games for fun, as well as training and tournaments for non-professional players.

Tactical paintball

IT COMES IN TWO TYPES:

  1. Game in abandoned buildings. Shooting in corridors, rooms, through windows, passages, etc. There are conditional missions to capture a building or search for an object, for example.
  2. Game on areas with a maximum size of 500x500 meters. Here, the figures are various booths, small buildings, trenches, sandbag bunkers, trees, ramps, barrels, etc.
The territory is usually uneven at first. In tactical paintball, accessories are usually used that improve the technical characteristics of your equipment and increase the chances of winning.

THESE CAN BE:

  • long barrels for markers - 16 "-20" inches;
  • remote gas line for the cylinder - "mamba", to facilitate the marker (the cylinder is twisted from the marker and worn in a special belt or unloading behind the back);
  • a harness with tubes (a special belt worn on the back and special containers for bullets that can hold up to 900 bullets);
  • paintball grenades (usually several types: RGD (radius 7-10 meters), F-1 (radius 5-7 meters) and smoke grenades);
  • portable radios;
  • binoculars.
